Week 7 Recap – 2016

26-9 after 7 weeks, pretty good if I may say so myself, but this was the worst week for my teams since week 1. It was not a big shock for me that this week would be a little bit more difficult due to the fact that Ezekiel Elliott who is a cornerstone in 3 of my teams was on a bye and for Team 1, McCoy and Charles were very uncertain. Let’s dig in!

Team 1: This was not good! I made mistakes at flex and the team was very decimated with an injured McCoy, uncertain Charles and Elliott on a bye and when I saw the production from Thursday Night Football I had a feeling I was doomed! Seeing 4 red players also indicates that this will be a loss without even looking at the numbers.

Team 2: 155.9 points is a pretty good number, this team keeps winning and even though the league is probably the weakest I play in, I am happy with the amount of points. Melvin Gordon was a player I targeted heavily in the drafts due to the fact that his numbers where a lot better than the players with the same ADP, that was a good pick. He was my number 1 ranked player in the 7th round! We also see my best player in round 5 produce incredible numbers, DeMarco Murray even when he has a bad week he’s good.

Team 3: This team is the one I am actually upset over, I really thought it had a chance to turn it around but my opponent had a really good lineup for week 7 and I left LaGarrette Blount on the bench, that hurt a lot. I am seeing more and more that this team that was drafted using Auction Draft is way behind the others from Snake Draft. The reason for its failure might be attributed to my bias when bidding on players, but seeing as most of my teams have similar players it might also be attributed to the rest of the league’s bias. However, it is interesting to see!

Team 4: Randall Cobb finally doing some good, but what has happened to A.Rob?! He is now my 42 ranked wide receiver after 7 games, that is a decline I believe no one could have predicted. Other notes, Brees scored a lot outside the Superdome, Bell was consistent even without Big Ben and my top ranked defense is still amazing!

Team 5: Had to make a change at TE due to Ebron’s injury but it turned out pretty well, with Thomas actually producing. Travis Benjamin can be started in PPR and has breakout potential but only on a game to game basis not in the long-term. Gostkowski is not producing what I had hoped and Rich asked me to look into ROS Kicker stats which will provide me with options for a new kicker. Bernard is still dam good to have considering where I got him in the draft and even more so now if Hill is out.

Score Projection and Risk Analysis tomorrow, and keep an eye on twitter for ROS Kicker stats. I will post more ROS stats on twitter in the next week for other positions as well. On Friday we will have another Head-2-Head with “Battle of the Benjamins” and an undecided match-up, tweet me your suggestions.

If you would like your team’s probability analysis or if you have two players that you have projections for and would like to know the risk, tweet me at @qalled and I would be more than happy to provide you with an edge over your co-workers!

Like and Re-tweet, everything is appreciated!imageedit_1_9253545623
