Head-2-Head – 2016

I got inspired by the fact that David Johnson got the award for NFC offensive player of the month. No doubt that he is a Fantastic player both in real life and in fantasy, but I thought I should compare him to another great fantasy running back, Ezekiel Elliott. When I started working with these two players numbers I found out, as I guess many before me that David Johnson’s stats from last year will have an effect on how we look at his career numbers.

Elliott’s start has been fantastic and I could not be more happy both as a Elliott owner in 3 leagues and as a Cowboys fan. But looking below we can see that there are some areas where you most definitely would have drafted Johnson over Elliott if the draft was today and vice a versa, and as I said above, keep in mind that Elliott’s sample is much smaller and Johnson’s will be effected by last year. Let’s dig in!
