Hello and welcome to another Floor Rankings post. For you that has gotten accustomed to the Rankings coming up on Thursdays I have bad news, they will from now on be posted on Monday’s with Team Score Projections on Wednesdays and on Fridays. This is due to the fact that there are 32 teams in the NFL but we are getting closer and closer to the league start. So starting this today you will see the Rankings on Mondays, Wednesday a Team Score Projection post and on Friday a Team Score Projection Video. I hope everyone likes this setup and are as excited as me about the draft picks your team got this weekend!
Now, after getting that out of the way we can focus on the Tight End Floor Rankings! In case you need a refresher of what I mean by Floor Click Here. Let’s dig in!

** Small Sample Size
I think we have some pretty interesting numbers at hand today. Maybe not at number one cause that is usually dominated by one guy every year but after him. Delanie Walker was I player I was very high on in 2016, he was ranked 3rd after Gronk and Jimmy Graham but not that many people seemed interested in him. I think he will see an upswing in ADP so the amount you might need to spend of him have the chance to decrease his overall value.
Jimmy Graham was another Tight End people slept on last year that I think people will be more aware of this year and we might not be able to get him for as cheap as we would have wanted, cause I still see some risk in betting on him too early.
Hunter Henry has a small sample size so we still have questions regarding his production but ranking number 3 in the floor rankings is really impressive for a first year Tight End. I know he leaned heavily on Touchdowns in 2016 so he might take a step back next year but I still think that if his ADP stays pretty low we can find good value from him.
During the season, Eric Ebron was my guy for a while. That part of my life is over and I will most likely never trust him to be my Tight End again. I still have him in a Dynasty League but I feel good about finding a replacement for him.
I have done more extensive numbers for Martellus Bennett here. I am not too high on him in the Packers system and his Floor number does not support a high pick for him.
I have a feeling for some reason that we will see Tight End ADP’s be way to high for what we get out of them next season. This feeling comes from seeing a lot of Travis Kelce and Tyler Eifert picks early on in mock drafts.
On Wednesday the Carolina Panthers will get their Score Projection right here on the website and on Friday the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will get theirs on the YouTube channel.
